COMMEMORATION OVERVIEW

Haunschmied (Austria) and Vince Mahler (U.S.A.) Youngsters from Sesto San Giovanni (Italy) and the St. Georgen Music School (Austria) formed the background of the 2008 commemoration.

  • Commemorational address by Dr. Helmut Wagner on Dr. Johann Gruber, Austria

Mr. Reinhard Hanausch from Regensburg, Germany, handed over art fabricated at KZ Gusen to the Gusen Memorial Committee (GMC). Honorary Membership of the Gusen Memorial Committee (GMC) was awarded to: (from left to right) Dusan Stefancic (Slovenia), Paul Brusson (Belgium), Jan-Ruth Mills (U.S.A.), Nedo Nencioni (Italy), Angelo Ratti (Italy) and Vince Mahler (U.S.A.) Line up for laying wreath insiside the Gusen Memorial. SC Dr. Helmut Prugger represented the Republic of Austria at the 2008 Commemoration.
